About the space
POMAR na praia is the operator’s beachside house, in the village of Fuseta and about ten minutes from the sand [source: pomar-coliving.com]. Eight bedrooms, twelve guests at capacity — five ensuite suites and two two-person dorms with shared bathrooms. It is the seasonal half of the operation: the published season runs October to April [source: pomar-coliving.com], which means the months it is open are the months the Algarve is cheapest, emptiest and wettest. That is the whole proposition, and it is a defensible one.
The sister house, POMAR base, sits inland near Olhão and runs year-round. They are not interchangeable — one is a farm three kilometres from a town, this one is a village house within walking distance of a beach.
The setup, in principle
A dedicated coworking room with ergonomic chairs and 24-inch screens, and FTTH fibre. The gym is a kit rather than a room: kettlebells, dumbbells, TRX, bands and mats, used outdoors. The pool is heated on request for an extra fee, which is either refreshing honesty or a line item, depending on your mood in February.
The booking floor moved
The house now advertises a fourteen-night minimum. During the 2025/26 season it was twenty-eight, and the thirteen-week stay this profile draws on booked against the old figure. Neighbourhood
Fuseta is a working village on the Ria Formosa, not a resort. The practical inventory is short and that is the point: a Friday-to-Sunday nanobrewery, a lunch place with a three-option menu that changes daily, a farmers market, and seafood restaurants that outperform their prices. Faro is the nearest airport and the nearest night out; Olhão’s Saturday market is the regional grocery run. Tavira is a comfortable day trip. In winter you will have most of it to yourself, and you will pay for that in rain.

Long-stay winterers who would actually use the gym kit, Atlantic-friendly time zones, anyone who wants the village rather than the resort strip
